As you all know Maxton Henry was born on 9-14 and is doing great!  

What you may not know is that this is a very significant day in our family and our walk with The Lord.  Abby and I had lost our first little baby three years ago and that little ones due date was exactly 9-14.  This valley in our life was a place that God truly reveled himself to our family. His light shined when we thought darkness would consume us!

 Weeks ago God reveled to Abby the reminder of this date and the promises of his love for us that was revealed in that tragedy.  She says that she knew that Max was going to be born on that date as a reminder of His amazing love and power. Sure enough he was. As we were listening to music during her labor this song came on and puts our story into words. We were both very moved and  brought to tears. Minutes later I checked my email and saw that my only new message was from dad... Read Genesis 21:1-7 it said... A story about how God lived up to his promises to Sara and Abraham and blessed them with the child they never thought they would have. It was as if Jesus himself was sitting in the corner of the delivery room with a big grin on his face saying "I knew all along and love you all so much".

As I write this to you all with tears in my eyes it is so humbling and awesome to see His plan unfold. He knew all along and he has truly finished what he started!  To God be the glory!  Enjoy the song I know we will forever!!
