Great News

Today we were blessed to find out great news. We will be welcoming a little girl in June. We made a pre-birthday cake to celebrate the news of our little girl:

About Us

Jeremy and I met in the spring of 2004 through mutual friends at Central Michigan University when I was a sophomore and he was Junior. We ended up have a course together that fall and became friends. At the beginning of the school year in 2005 we started dating. We both quickly new that it was meant to be! Jeremy graduated with his degree in Elementary Education, Math Education and Language Art Education in December 2006 and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in February. I graduated in May 2007 with degrees in Special Education: Cognitive Impairments, Elementary Education and Child Development. On August 3rd, 2007 I moved to Raleigh to join Jeremy. Jeremy proposed the day that I moved down and the day that he closed on what is now our house.

While we were engaged we adopted the best dog in the world. Her name is Zukey "Zoo-Key" Red Lutz. She is a border collie and whippet mix. Wondering where her name comes from? Jeremy loved Detroit Red Wing Hockey and Zukey is named after number 13 Pavel Datsyuk "Dat-Zook". She is crazy intelligent and can pick up any trick with just a few lessons. She is able to roll, spin, give high fives, shake, be shot dead, bow, lay, do figure 8's through your legs and score (jump on her hind legs) just to name a few. Zukey only knows two speed 100 miles an hour and dead stopped. We love every inch of this energetic puppy.

  

Baby Love!

We were married in Raleigh on August 3rd, 2008. We were blessed to be surrounded by so many friends and family that made the trek down to Raleigh to celebrate this special time with us. Our ceremony was filled with unique touches from family members. The most special being that Jeremy's Dad performed our ceremony.

Raleigh has slowly become our new home, and while we miss our families, we are so blessed to be surrounded by incredible and inspiring friends, have jobs that we truly love and have had the opportunity to have our love for one another grow and develop.

Our journey has just begun and we are excited to see what God has in store for our family, our relationship and our future.
